Thank you for your interest in our TRIO TEACH Program. The Chabot College TRIO TEACH program offers academic support and career exploration for education majors planning to transfer to four-year colleges. We offer academic counseling, priority registration, tutoring, speakers in education, conferences, and campus visits as well as information on the transfer process, financial aid, and internships. To be eligible, students must: Be interested in becoming a teacher; Be intending to transfer to a 4-year university; and Demonstrate an economic and educational disadvantage (generally our students are first generation in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree andare eligible for financial aid.) Students that are first-generation college students OR demonstrate high financial need, will be added to a wait list but students that are both first-generation college students AND demonstrate high financial need should expect to hear back from us shortly. Data and Photo Release:
I give the Chabot College TRIO TEACH program permission to obtain records of the above named individual including but not limited to courses, grades, transcripts, test scores, copies of and information from the Free Application for Federal Financial Aid, Profile, and data regarding admissions and financial aid packages. These may be forwarded to appropriate institutions as needed. I understand that all records will be kept in confidence per federal regulations. During the course of TRIO TEACH events, Zoom Meetings, photographs are occasionally taken. This media is captured to promote the TRIO TEACH program and/or are used for educational purposes.
